VENTURE ALLIANCE PARTNER AGREEMENT
Tier: Partner
Purpose: To enter into a strategic, collaborative relationship that supports co-creation, pilot development, sponsorship, or infrastructure alignment across Virginia’s innovation ecosystem.
Audience: Organizations, agencies, institutions, and aligned networks seeking to work alongside the Venture Alliance to scale shared impact.
Overview
The Partner tier is designed for institutions and organizations ready to form strategic relationships with the Venture Alliance. These partnerships may be anchored in pilots, sponsorships, programs, policy initiatives, or technology integration.
All Partner relationships are initiated through mutual interest, aligned objectives, and a custom intake process that results in a co-developed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or other tailored agreement.
Terms & Conditions
1. Partnership Intake Process
Prospective partners complete a discovery session with the Alliance onboarding team.
Each partnership is defined by a custom scope of work, co-created to fit goals, resourcing, and timing.
All agreements are aligned with the Venture Alliance’s ecosystem ethics and regenerative framework.
2. Contribution & Collaboration Pathways
Partner contributions may include:
Financial sponsorship or co-investment in programs
Technology access, platform integrations, or research collaborations
Joint storytelling, thought leadership, or policy innovation
Workforce development programs, apprenticeships, or upskilling initiatives
Venue access, distribution networks, or infrastructure sharing
3. Access & Participation
Partners gain access to private briefings, capital intelligence dashboards, pilot co-leads, and strategic infrastructure.
Partners may be invited to contribute to working groups or governance input sessions.
Partners are offered co-branding opportunities, internal training support, and ecosystem media collaboration.
4. Values & Ethical Standards
All partners are expected to align with the Venture Alliance’s regenerative values and commit to:
Equity, inclusion, and community-centered innovation
Transparency, trust, and shared long-term value
No extractive practices, misrepresentation, or ecosystem harm
5. Agreement Format
Each partner relationship is documented through an MOU, partnership contract, or sponsored pilot agreement.
Terms may include renewal, exit clauses, attribution rights, and co-ownership of IP when applicable.
