VENTURE ALLIANCE OBSERVER AGREEMENT

Tier: Observer


Purpose: To provide insight, inspiration, and access to Virginia’s growing innovation ecosystem without formal contribution or project engagement.


Audience: Ecosystem learners, emerging entrepreneurs, students, policy allies, and early-stage collaborators.

Overview

The Observer tier invites individuals to participate passively in the Alliance while staying informed about key initiatives, ecosystem growth, and strategic opportunities. This tier is designed for individuals who wish to explore the Venture Alliance before committing to active contribution.

Terms & Conditions

1. Access & Visibility

  • Observers receive access to public newsletters, select open events, ecosystem updates, and thought leadership content.

  • No active contribution, task tracking, or participation in pilots is required or expected.

  • Observer status is non-voting and non-contractual within Alliance decisions or advisory processes.

2. Use of Information

  • By joining as an Observer, you consent to receive communication from the Venture Alliance and its affiliated platforms (e.g., ResInnovate, Modern Ancients, AI Ready RVA).

  • Your contact information will be stored securely for future engagement opportunities.

  • You may unsubscribe at any time.

3. Participation Eligibility

  • Observer status is open to anyone who aligns with the mission of regenerative innovation, ethical AI, and Virginia-first ecosystem building.

  • You must agree to abide by our community values, including respectful discourse, zero harassment tolerance, and a collaborative spirit.

4. Transitioning from Observer to Member or Contributor

  • Observers may upgrade to a Member or Contributor tier at any time.

  • A separate onboarding or contribution agreement will be presented if transitioning to an active tier.

5. Liability & Representation

  • Observers do not represent the Alliance in any official capacity.

  • The Venture Alliance retains the right to suspend Observer access in cases of abuse, misrepresentation, or misuse of information.

Agreement Confirmation

By submitting your Observer registration, you agree to the above terms and affirm that you will engage in good faith with the Venture Alliance community.
